Summer view: Cyprian's choice
Summer View — Cyprian's Choice, running from 22 July to 2 September 2026, presents a curated selection of artists from the Cyprian Gallery programme alongside exceptional works by leading Czech and international artists.
The exhibition presents a summer curatorial selection of works that brings together artists featured in the Cyprian Gallery’s program with prominent figures in Czech and international visual arts. It is conceived as a meeting of different generations, approaches, and media, which together create a diverse picture of the contemporary and postwar art scenes.
Visitors can look forward to works by artists who have long been part of the gallery’s program, as well as newly featured artists whose work expands the scope of Cyprian Fine Art Gallery. The exhibition also presents newly acquired works by prominent Czech and international artists, which enrich the gallery’s collection and foster a dialogue between established figures and contemporary art.
The exhibition features works by artists such as Martin Krajc, Marek Číhal, Marek Schovánek, Ukn Lee, Ondrash & Kašpárek, Antonín Strížek, Martin Mainer, Jiří Georg Dokoupil, Jiří Sopko, Vasilko, Milan Houser, Josef Bolf, Michal Gabriel, Jan Dotřel, Milan Knížák, Martin Gabriel, Kateřina Gabriel Konarovská, Karel Malich, Zdeněk Sýkora, Zdeněk Burian, Andy Warhol, Mel Ramos, Roy Lichtenstein, Pablo Picasso, and Ota Janeček.
Summer View is not a thematic exhibition in the traditional sense. It is rather a personal curatorial selection that emphasizes the quality, uniqueness, and interconnections of individual works. It offers a glimpse into various aspects of modern and contemporary art and presents a selection of artists who use form
