Ukn Jaden Lee: Twelve Signals - Between the Layers
More than 40 works by the German-Korean artist Ukn Lee are presented at the Old Synagogue in Žatec. As one of the most significant Jewish sacred buildings in the Czech Republic and the second-largest synagogue in the country, this remarkable structure was built in the 19th century. Following an extensive restoration, it reopened in 2024 and now serves as a vibrant venue for art, culture, and dialogue. The unique atmosphere of the historic space enhances the impact of Ukn Lee’s spatial works, lending the exhibition a profound emotional and sensory depth.
