Based in his studio in Prague’s Holešovice district, he focuses on the creation of kinetic objects and sculptures, exploring his interest in contemporary technologies. His work combines found objects, 3D printing, and electronics. He has participated in several group exhibitions, including at Galerie Zdeněk Sklenář.
As a filmmaker, he works as a screenwriter, director, cinematographer, and editor. In collaboration with Tomáš Klein, he co-created the short film Retriever (2014), which was selected for the Cinéfondation competition at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2015, his film Obsession received the award for Best Documentary at FAMUFEST. In 2024, he completed the documentary ECHT—a film about painter Jan Merta—which won the award for Best Editing at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival.
He lives with his family between Prague and the Jeseníky Mountains and is active on Instagram under the name Šípkový Růže.
