Michal Gabriel (1960, Czech Republic) is one of the most significant Czech sculptors. Since the 1980s, he has shaped contemporary sculpture with characteristic animal and human figures in bronze, wood, or resin. His work combines classical tradition with an innovative perspective on themes such as myth, identity, and nature. As a professor, he has also influenced generations of young artists.
